Best friends since childhood, Richard 'Bodhi' Perryer and Michael 'Manbear' Hayles started their planting journey in the forests of Northern Sweden. Bodhi delved into the spiritual essence of planting, eventually co-owning a permaculture farm and retreat centre in vibrant South Africa. Manbear, on the other hand, became a force of nature, breaking records and setting new standards in the Swedish planting community. Their paths converged once again in the rugged terrains of Australia, where they cattle-planted alongside a diverse crew of planters from around the globe. It was here, fueled by a shared vision to leverage their expertise for the greater good, that Forestme was born. Founded in 2021, Forestme is the culmination of years of experience, unbreakable bonds, and an unwavering commitment to transforming the world of tree planting.
